Luxembourg's Interactive Brokers Group (IBG) has started issuing derivatives and structured products on the German market, via its Interactive Brokers Financial Product (IBFP) brand.

To begin with, it will list 500 plain vanilla calls and six discount certificates, all linked to the Allianz share, and the range will be extended shortly, said IBFP.

"More than 30 years of security trading know-how, global presence, a fully automated trading system and model as well as synergies stemming from the different companies of Interactive Brokers Group are good reasons why Interactive Brokers Financial Products' entry on the German structured products market will be successful," said Roger Ryff, a director at IBG.

The products are listed on Scoach, Frankfurt. Market maker will be Timber Hill (Europe) AG, also part of IBG.

These products appear on the German database.
