Citibank will appeal against a 1 December verdict in which a Belgian court fined it €165,000 for misleading clients in the sale of Lehman Brothers products, according to De Standaard . More than 4,000 clients bought Lehman-backed structured products via Citibank thinking their investment would be 100% guaranteed.
