The International Swaps Dealers Association (ISDA), the trade body for the over-the-counter derivatives industry, has reported a 5.8% increase in the size of the OTC equity derivatives market in 2002. The notional outstanding amount of equity derivatives contracts now stands at $2.45 trillion according to figures collected by ISDA from leading market participants. The survey, conducted twice yearly, received responses from 94 firms in respect of equity derivatives business.
