HSBC Mutual Funds has announced it will file an application with the Securities & Exchange board of India to launch capital-protected funds following the regulator’s release of product guidelines.Chief executive Sanjay Prakash said the fund house will also introduce trading in international equity derivatives, and plans an open-ended equity-linked savings scheme in the third quarter.
