JPMorgan Chase has hired Paul Goodman from Deutsche Asset Management for the newly-created position of equity derivatives managing director, Asia ex Japan. Goodman will help build the firm’s equity derivatives business in the region, where it expects the equity derivatives market to expand by at least 80% this year, and where it will focus on creating lower-cost alternatives to equity investing.
