South Korea is revamping its investment banking rules to include strategy indices in its structured products public distribution market as new quanto and decrement indices make first foray in the market.

South Korean securities firm Shinhan Investment Corp. launched a new product late last month linked to two decrement indices that are also South Korean won hedged – S&P 500 KRW Hedged 2% Decrement Index ER, Euro iStoxx 50 KRW Hedged Decrement 3.5% ER.
