The environmental, social and governance (ESG) offering in the French market continued to expand with Société Générale and BNP Paribas each introducing an index for ‘la rentrée’.

The new iStoxx Transatlantic ESG 100 EW Decrement Index debuted with two products, notably Elan Transatlantic ESG , distributed by Société Générale itself and Itin é raires Septembre 2019 , distributed by insurance group Covéa’s MAAF Vie and GMF Vie. The first product is a 10-year autocallable structure, with an annual observation and a strike level taken as the average of five daily readings. Covea’s product has a maximum term of eight years
