The turnover in daily leverage certificates (DLC) in the Singapore Exchange (SGX) increased by 260% during the last quarter.

SGX Securities Products has reported a daily turnover of S$56m in January, up 65% from the previous quarter. The combined average daily turnover of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), DLCs and warrants in January was S$56m, up 65% from the previous quarter. Of the S$56m, warrants contributed S$25m (+19% from previous quarter), DLCs contributed S$18m (+260%) and ETFs contributed S$13m (+62%).
