Life insurance firm Sammons Financial has introduced a new financial index in partnership with Fidelity Investments to counter consumer concerns on stable retirement savings and market volatility. In addition, Sammons member North American Company also announced the arrival of its indexed universal life product, Smart Builder.
The Fidelity Multifactor Yield Index 5% ER SM is the first-of-its-kind to be detached from the S&P 500 and other indices such as Dow Jones. It will be added into Sammons Financial’s portfolio of new fixed index annuity products. The index caters a blend of six equity factor indices which were elected on their respective abilities to manage risk and maximise returns.
