Citi has reorganised its equities and securities services (ESS) business under a new structure led by a global head of equities and a global head of securities services. This would ‘allow for greater focus and accountability,’ according to a memo seen by SRP.
Under the new set up , the bank’s equities business will comprise equity cash, equity derivatives, prime finance/delta one and the multi asset group (MAS). As part of the management changes, Fater Belbachir (pictured) will be joining the US bank in August to lead this business.
