Thirty-one products worth £82.5m were added to the UK database in April, down four from the same period last year. Some 41 plans with estimated sales of £76.5m stuck during the month.

Seventeen products matured or autocalled in April compared to 61 in the same month last year, SRP data shows. The average capital return of the maturing products is 109% with Starpoint Investments FTSE Quarterly Income Plan - March/ April 2014 the best performer. The six-year structure, for which SIP Nordic (marketing agent) collaborated with Meteor Asset Management (plan manager) and BNP Paribas (derivatives counterparty) returned 140.25% (5.76 pa).
