The resignation comes six months after the Swiss bank ‘realigned’ its business model and follows other high-profile departures in Europe.

Long Lee (pictured) , chief executive officer and head financial products Asia at Vontobel Investment Banking, in Hong Kong, has resigned from his position at the Swiss bank. Lee will be replaced by Urs Pfister, head of trade and public distribution in Hong Kong, a Vontobel spokesperson told SRP. Lee took over the management of Vontobel Financial Products Asia in early 2018, and was responsible for the bank’s entire structured products business in Asia Pacific with a focus on Hong K
