With interest rates at near zero, small size tickets starting from US$100,000 have helped to increase the issuance of equity-linked notes (ELN) in the country.

Product issuance in Taiwan between January and September has hiked by 55.5% to 7,112 compared with the same period of last year – the sales volume at the end of September standing at TWD662.6 billion (US$22.9 billion), up 50% year-on-year (YoY), the SRP database shows.
