Some 847 structured products worth an estimated THB3 billion ($95 million) had strike dates in the third quarter of 2020, according to the SRP Thailand database.

The quarter saw a modest recovery in the market for structured products: issuance was up 89% while sales volume more than doubled compared to the second quarter. Still, the market is far removed from levels seen in Q1 and even further from where it was in 2019. Year-to-date there has been a 64% decrease in the number of products and a 67% drop in terms of volume.
