Investors in the Netherlands prefer investment funds and equities over ETFs, leverage products and notes, according to a study conducted on behalf of the regulator.

The number of Dutch investors increased by 160,000 to 1.6 million in 2020, according to the Consumer Monitor Investing , which is published annually by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).
