The veteran structurer has shifted to the Japanese bank following a 16-year career at the Swiss bank, which is expected to see the departure of further senior executives.

Bogdan Ianev (pictured) has been appointed managing director, head of structuring, equity derivatives (EQD) at Mizuho Americas based in New York, according to a spokesperson at the Japanese bank. He  reports to Arunesh Hari, head of EQD at Mizuho Americas, also based in New York. “In this role, he is responsible for working with internal and external clients on investment solutions and providing access to new payoffs and quantitative investment strategies (QIS),” the spoke
