Some 1,999 structured notes worth an estimated TWD189 billion ($6.2 billion) were added to the SRP Taiwan database in March.

Issuance was up 10% compared to the previous month. Year-on-year (YoY), issuance increased by five percent: from 4,302 products in Q1 2022 to 4,515 notes in the same quarter this year. The number of maturing notes increased 11% month-on-month (MoM). However, maturing products in Q1 2023 were down 43%, when compared to the prior year quarter. Distributors DBS Bank marketed 522 notes in March – an increase of 19.7% MoM. Products distributed by the bank were primarily autocallables (503)
