Alternative asset manager Man Investments has launched a new capital-guaranteed note with dynamic exposure to the manager's Directional Fund Index. A statement said fragile economic conditions can create a 'wealth of opportunities' for the strategy, as market inefficiencies and price trends become more prevalent.

The 13-year Man Directional Index Notes, which are available in euros, dollars and Swiss francs, have an initial participation in the risky assets of 100%, capped at 125%. At maturity, the product repays capital plus the positive performance of the strategy over the investment period.

Capital protection is provided by Credit Suisse International, which has an A+ rating from S&P and Aa1 from Moody's.

Man Directional Index Notes will be available until 19 October. Different investment minimums apply to various jurisdictions: USD/EUR/CHF10,000 for investors in Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland; EUR50,000 or USD/CHF equivalent for investors in other European Union countries; and USD/EUR/CHF50,000 for countries outside the European Union.

This product is available now in Recent Additions (Offshore, Private Banking & Institutional).
