Barclays has hired Deutsche Bank’s global head of multi-asset solutions Gerald Toledano as global head of funds and equity solutions.

Based in London, Toledano reports to Fabien Labouret ( pictured ), global head of equities structuring and Barclays Investment Managers. The appointment makes part of Tim Throsby’s plans to “reinvest for growth in people and technology to increase returns for shareholders”, according to a Barclays spokesperson.
