The Korea Exchange (KRX) is gearing up to launch a new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principle compliant benchmark next month.

The new benchmark is targeted at domestic institutional investors, including the National Pension Service – the world’s third largest pension fund that manages over half a trillion US dollars in assets. The new index will be made up of around a hundred constituents from the Kospi200 with high ESG criteria scores.
