Sweden FY2018: Sales volumes continue falling

Sales of structured products continued to fall in Sweden although Nordea, and especially SEB, performed well in 2018, according to SRP data. Since 2014, the market has been in a downward spiral and 2018 was no different. At SEK11.7 billion (€1.1 billion), sales volumes fell by almost 16% compared to 2017 while the number of new issues, at 660 (including non-retail, but excluding flow and others) was down 25% on the previous year.
