Eric Barthe (pictured), managing director and head of financial engineering at Leonteq in Zurich, has parted ways with the Swiss structured products and pension solutions specialist provider. SRP understands Barthe is joining a competitor outfit in Switzerland.

Barthe joined Leonteq in 2014 and has been in charge of the firm’s structuring activities across asset classes, and provided pitches to internal sales and external clients as well as training. Barthe is also a professor of financial engineering at HEC Paris. Barthe joined the Swiss firm from The Boston Consulting Group where he was a consultant in Paris covering distribution strategy for European asset managers.
