The range accrual payoff structure held the global No. 1 spot over the protected tracker notes with ‘knock-out’ and ‘worst of’ options during the first six months of this year.
The sales volume reached by range accrual notes in the first half of this year came in at US$32.3 billion , according to SRP data. This means a market share of over 15% and marks two straight half-years that the payoff type raised the largest sales volume globally. The products exclude non-retail, flow and others and have a strike date between January 1 and June 30, 2019.
