Mediobanca was one of the outstanding performers at this year’s SRP Europe awards. The Italian bank won first prize in three categories: Best Performance Europe, Best Performance Italy and Best Distributor Italy.
SRP considered 79 structured products worth a combined €375m from the bank – with strike dates between 1 October 2019 and 30 September 2020. A further 19 products that matured during the same period were also taken into account. The maturing products, which sold a combined €100m at inception, provided an average annualised return of 13.1%.
