SRP data shows an uptick in the volume of structured products tied to fantasy sports firm DraftKings in the first half of 2021 amid more workforces making the permanent shift to a remote environment.

In the US market, a total of 29 structured products tied to DraftKings have been issued between September 2020 and June 2021 with top issuers including Barclays, Société Générale, Citi, J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs. The investments have a combined sales volume of about US$100m. Issuance commenced slowly with just one DraftKing linked product being introduced to the market each month.
