The Finnish market held its own in the first half of 2021 with solid volumes recorded during the semester.

Some 140 subscription-based structured products worth an estimated €375m had strike dates in Finland during the first six months of 2021, according to SRP data. Both issuance and sales were slightly up on the previous semester, by 11% and 9.3%, respectively, but down compared to the same period in 2020 when 156 products with combined sales of €438m were launched. The highest sales levels in the past five years were recorded in H1 2019, when €527m was collected from 171 products.
