Sixty-four structured products worth an estimated INR2.8 billion ($38m) were added to the SRP India database in the second quarter of 2021.

This was a slight decrease, both in terms of issuance and sales volumes quarter-on-quarter (QoQ). The number of products fell by five and sales volumes were down 12% compared to the previous quarter. The first half of 2021 saw roughly the same numbers in terms of products issues, only two less, but there was a noticeable fall in terms of volumes sold – down 38%.
