The exchange has concluded its dematerialisation proof of concept (PoC) around structured warrants (SWs), a first step in transitioning the Malaysian securities industry to a paperless environment.

With an emphasis on automating how jumbo certificates are logged, the PoC built a multi-party application on Daml, a smart contract language created by Digital Asset, which is encoded on distributed ledger technology (DLT) provided by VMware Blockchain.
