Taiwan Market Review, April 2023: issuance drops MoM

Issuance was down approximately 24% month-on-month (MoM), but it increased more than five percent when compared to the previous year. Nine-hundred and eighteen products matured in April, releasing an estimated TWD92.4 billion back onto the market for reinvestment. So far this year, 5,040 notes have reached their maturity, down  45% year-on-year (YoY). Distributors DBS Bank distributed 394 notes this month, down 24% from March 2023. The bank introduced notes tied to 77 different underlyi
