The world’s largest listed structured product market saw a reduction in derivative warrants (DWs) and callable bull/bear contracts (CBBCs) activities during the first half of 2023.

A total of 4,334 derivative warrants (DWs) and 11,995 callable bull/bear contracts (CBBCs) were newly listed in Hong Kong SAR during the first six months of 2023, dropping 29% and 38%, respectively, compared to the first half of 2022, according to the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing’s (HKEX) interim 2023 report.
