As we approach the end of 2023, we take a look at the most active issuer groups of structured products year-to-date (YTD) across the Asia Pacific (Apac) markets.
South Korea Hana Securities has maintained its leading position as the largest issuer in the Korean market, with 1,385 product issuance worth KRW9.3 trillion (US7.1 billion) in 2023 so far. The volume reflects 15.8% of the market share, up from 12.5% in the prior year’s same period , according to SRP data. Some 846 of those are equity-linked securities (ELS), followed by 352 derivative-linked bonds (DLBs), 145 equity-linked bonds (ELBs), and 42 derivative-linked securities (DLS).
